ABOUT OUR SHARING CONTESTS ON FACEBOOK
All the details on how winners are selected. Good luck!
Our social media contest runs every Wednesday morning to Tuesday evening.
Winners are announced late on Tuesday on our Facebook page.
Winning the contest is simple. Facebook analytics report to us how many people were reached by your posting. This essentially is a measure of how many people saw your posting. While Likes and Shares are helpful and may help improve your reach, the winner is not selected based on the number of likes and shares.
If you win the contest, go to http://www.eurocastcookware.com and choose any pan in our inventory (excluding the double roaster) and then either send us a message via Facebook Messenger on our Facebook page, with your address and pan of choice, or send the same information to firstname.lastname@example.org with the title "Social Media Winner."
Good luck ... and get to work sharing your picture to your friends and family! We'd love to send you your next EuroCAST cookware piece for free!
Bonus Pro Tip
Facebook's privacy settings can be complicated, but if you know a little bit about them, you can improve your chances of winning.
For example, when you want to share your photo, you might think that simply hitting the Share link would be enough. But here's a pro tip.
When you click on the Share button, your picture shows up in a dialog box here you can enter some text prior to sharing. The dialog box will look something like this:
In the box marked "Say something about this ..." in grey text, write what you think will be most interesting to your friends, their friends, and to the public (that is, even people who don't know you). You might say something like, "I just bought EuroCAST cookware and if I get a lot of likes and shares, more people will see this photo, making it easier for me to win one more pan for free! I would love your help!"
Then, before you hit the blue Post button, click on the button that that says Friends. This will bring up a set of choices you can make about who will see the post. The wider the audience is for your Share, the higher your reach will be. See the picture below to see how you might target your share.
Again, good luck! We hope this helps you!
